Robin,

Apologies for the delay. If you're in the area, please come out to tonight's social and meet several of your local leaders of Louisville's TEA Party patriots. (see latest blog entry for details.) :)

Thank you, Dan, for that info. I looked hard & long for rideshares to the 912 DC Tea Party last Sept, w/ no luck...Dr. Frank Simon then sent an em from AFA (American Family Assn), for which he is State Director, notifying of an inexpensive, quick in & out, bus ride to DC in Dec to speak with Senators before their HCB vote. This was great! It enabled all to meet like-minded local people & keep all in the loop for future marches/gatherings. Yes, I prchsd a tkt to the TP Convention early, & it was costly, but I am looking for all the info I can get about this movement & how we can all unite to take our country back from the road this admin. is taking us down. Of primary concern now, are the Senate seat left open upon Bunning's retirement, & replacing Yarmuth in Jeff Co. The more we can get to rally behind a candidate, not an endorsement, as the TPN does not make them for primary candidates, but perhaps for fundraising for a more conservative candidate, like Bill Johnson for Senate. Have you heard him? www.kentuckybill.com Because he is conservative on all the points important to us, yet he is an unknown, he will need our help. He wowed the crowd at the TP Rally @ Evangel...& I believe if we can get a big rally together, assuming those we contact are interested, I believe we could voluntarily decide to give him a donation, unlike Rand Paul asking us to pay $25 for the gig @ Freedom Hall this wkend. Paul also claims the Tea Party in his ad. I was leaning to Paul until I heard Bill Johnson speak...and Paul didn't show at this Rally @ Evangel, bcs of a previous speaking engagement. I have about 100 KY names on a database from Dr. Simon, but I understand you have a list with 10,000 Louisvillians? We're going to need to pick the strongest candidates we can on May 18, & it's coming up quick, & we need to organize some rallies to hear them...so that Ky'ns & Lou'ns can make the best decision, don't you think?

Robin:

Wendy remains a member of the TEA Party in good standing. She has stepped aside and I now have the privilege of serving this effort in that capacity. Please keep reading. And, if you are not already, become involved!

As to Wendy's plans re: the convention, please email her. I know it's cost-prohibitive for many.

For Liberty,

Dan

Wendy, are you still head of the Lou Tea Party? Will you be going to the TP Convention in Nashville next wk? I am driving & can take up to 3 people & will be leaving Thursday a.m. It does require a tkt, & is for volunteers & organizers of Tea Parties across the nation. Let me know if you know anyone who'd like a ride, & thanks.
