HOLD JOHN YARMUTH ACCOUNTABLE THIS TUESDAY JULY 28TH

Friday, July 24th, 2009

12pm – 1pm in front of his office at 600 Martin Luther King, Jr. Place in Downtown Louisville. The house has vowed to vote on the Health care Bill next week due to White House pushing the issue. The time to act and voice our opinion is now! We need to put the pressure on Rep. Yarmuth before he votes on it. Let’s get hundreds in front of his office to show how we feel. When our Secretary Evalynn Mills called this morning they said Mr. Yarmuth had no plans to meet with his constituents about this massive health care bill that has no plan for the long term in terms of payment for the services or how this will affect privatized medicine. We need to show up on his doorstep and point him out as a chicken who won;t face up to the people he represents. Please join me and show up on Tuesday July 28th from 12 – 1 with your signs and rubber chickens and make his staff very uncomfortable (in a peaceful way that is). The only thing is we must keep moving on the sidewalk and not block traffic. I hope to see alot of you there. If you can’t make it please call his office and bombard the phones from 12 -1. The number is 582-5129.

From the Tea Party Patriots national leadership …

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tea Party Patriots Action Alert
HELP…WE NEED YOUR INPUT IMMEDIATELY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Tea Party Patriots,

Today you were scammed by the House of Representatives, and despite the fact that you shut down the phones of virtually every Representative in the nation, they ignored you and voted for another bill which they haven’t even read.

HR 2454 The American Clean Energy & Security Act (Previously named CAP & TRADE)
passed, with the assistance of eight Republican votes. The House added 300 pages today, none of them have read it, and they still voted for it. How much abuse will we take from politicians that don’t care about us any longer?

So, the question is, what are you willing to do about it? We have watched in awe as Iranians have taken to the streets of their nation to protest a corrupt and abusive government. Do we have what it takes to stand up to our own government and tell them that we won’t take it anymore? Do we have the genes passed to us by our forefathers, who risked their lives to preserve their freedom?

What do you want to do? Many are suggesting that we take to the streets now…immediately, around the country…at every Federal courthouse, in every city. Are you willing? Are you ready? Is it time to say NO MORE????!!!!!

Please let us know ASAP what you want to do. Do you want to take to the streets right now? It’s Friday night across the country, and a good time to hit the streets if you want to express yourselves. Do we want to do it tomorrow? Many Patriots are angry and demanding immediate action.

This is a true grass roots movement and we aren’t going without you. Is it time to light a grass fire and hit the streets tonight or tomorrow?

Thanks,

Mark Meckler, Amy Kremer and Jenny Beth Martin

Independence Day Tea Party

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

Tired of out of control Government Spending? Tired of Corporate Bailouts?

Declare Independence from tax and spend politicians and the political games ad corruption on Capitol Hill!

The Louisville Grassroots Tea Party will be hosting another event on July 4th, 2009 in Jefferson Square (6th and Jefferson, Downtown Louisville) from 11AM until 2PM. We had nearly 2,000 people show up on April 15th for the Tax Day Tea Party, and the mainstream media ignored and insulted us. We need to show them that we aren’t just a flash in the pan, that we do hold our government responsible and that we are fed up with their reckless and irresponsible spending.
