    James,

Your point is very well made. My apologies. There were TEA Party people throughout the Cafe, so it turned out to be much too small a venue. We will be absolutely sure to have someone in a greet and sign-up role at the next event. Once we agree on a new venue, we’ll announce details but it will be the 1st Thursday in March.

    Patriotically Yours,

    Dan

    Hello All!
A few years ago Myself and a few others tried to organize a group here in Louisville to make folks aware of their good government slowly but surely crushing their liberties. Due to lack of interest, the notion went down in flames so I am very glad to see the Tea Party movement have such success.
It is amazing to me to know how many of our neighbors and friends dont know what is written in our constitution thus have no inclination of what their rights really are!
If you want a strong movement I feel that you must teach the masses that the constitution is the supreme law and the main idea of this sacred document is limited power of government.
Although rallys are a great political tool I have found that a lot of people dont show up to them because of fear and they dont want to risk themselves or their children at such events.
I propose that we have family friendly festivals at parks with food and entertainment along with constitutional readings but make it FUN! and to teach, but dont preach.
If you make any event enjoyable you will have a much better outcome. How about a summer of weekend festivals? Call it freedomfest, have some live music!
    Yours in liberty, Duane

  7. Dan says:

Stewie! It’s Dan, your friendly neighborhood editor. Thanks for the props and the encouragement. We’re making HUGE strides here in KY as the Senate results Tuesday indicated. America is sick and tired of an over-fed, over-grown, over-funded, leviaithan of a government who will not leave us and our freedoms alone!

    Your friend and brother,

    Dan
